General Terms of Sale

1. Object

These General Terms of Sale define the terms of access and use of the services offered by Carvenit, a web platform specialized in connecting clients and vehicle rental professionals.

The Carvenit platform is operated by a company operating under the trade name Carvenit, SARL, a Moroccan law company, whose registered office is located at 47, boulevard Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Résidence belle vue B, office number 1, 6th floor, Casablanca, Morocco, registered in the Casablanca trade register under number 689019.

The platform allows professional lessors to publish their rental offers and clients to search, compare and book a vehicle online.

Carvenit acts exclusively as an intermediary. The rental contract is concluded directly between the client and the selected lessor.

2. Platform Access and Service Use

Access to the consultation and booking services offered by Carvenit is free and does not necessarily require the creation of a user account.

The client can make a reservation as a guest user. However, certain features or additional services may require the creation of a personal account.

When creating an account, the user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Registration is free and reserved for adults or legal entities with the required legal capacity.

Lessors wishing to offer vehicles on the platform must create a professional account and provide accurate, complete and regularly updated information.

Carvenit reserves the right to suspend or delete any user or professional account in case of breach of these GTS, fraudulent use, provision of inaccurate information or behavior contrary to the law.

3. Service Description

Carvenit provides an interface allowing in particular:

Consultation and comparison of vehicle rental offers
Online booking with partner lessors
Generation of a booking voucher
Online payment (commission charged by Carvenit)

Information relating to vehicles, rates, insurance, options and specific rental conditions are provided under the exclusive responsibility of the lessors.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

Vehicle booking is done directly on the Carvenit platform.

Depending on the conditions defined by the lessor, the client may be invited to make an online payment via a secure payment solution operated by an authorized provider.

Two payment methods may be offered:

Full payment: the total rental amount is paid online when confirming the booking
Partial payment (deposit): part of the amount is paid online to confirm the booking; the balance is paid directly to the lessor when the vehicle is delivered

Carvenit may charge a commission only on amounts collected online, in accordance with agreements concluded with lessors, the balance being paid to the relevant agency.

Carvenit does not store any banking data. Payments are processed exclusively by the payment provider, in compliance with applicable security standards.

When payment is made directly to the lessor, Carvenit does not intervene in the financial transaction and declines all responsibility in case of a dispute related to payment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Conditions

The cancellation conditions applicable to each booking are specified at the time of booking validation.

Unless otherwise indicated when booking:

Default cancellation rule:

The client can cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time of the start of the rental
After this period, amounts paid online may be retained in whole or in part

It is expressly stated that when a rental agency applies its own cancellation or refund policy, it systematically takes precedence over the default 24-hour rule as well as these General Terms of Sale, as soon as it is applicable to the transaction concerned.

Any refunds are made via the payment method initially used, within the usual bank processing times.

6. Lessor Obligations

Lessors listed on Carvenit undertake to:

Post only vehicles that are actually available
Provide accurate, clear and transparent information
Respect bookings confirmed via the platform

They remain solely responsible for the execution of the rental, the condition of the vehicle, insurance, deposit, as well as any claim or dispute that may arise with the client.

7. Carvenit Liability

Carvenit is not a party to the rental contract concluded between the client and the lessor.

As such, Carvenit cannot be held responsible:

For the quality, compliance or condition of rented vehicles
For damages, accidents or incidents occurring during the rental period
For disputes between the client and the lessor

Carvenit may, however, intervene, on a purely commercial basis and without obligation, to facilitate exchanges between the parties.

8. Personal Data

Personal data collected in the context of using the platform is processed in compliance with applicable regulations on data protection.

This data is used in particular for account management, bookings, payment security and improving the services offered.

9. Intellectual Property

All elements composing the Carvenit platform, including in particular texts, visuals, logos, trademarks, databases and technical elements, are protected by applicable laws relating to intellectual property. Any unauthorized reproduction or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

10. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Moroccan law, except for mandatory legal provisions to the contrary. In case of dispute and in the absence of amicable resolution, express jurisdiction is attributed to the courts of Casablanca.
